Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Petilil from the BREAKpoint Pokemon Card Set. Petilil is a basic, grass type Pokemon card with an hp of 50. It has a x2 weakness to fire type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost. Petilil does not have an Ability and it only has one move. This move is called Aromatherapy, this move requires one grass energy card to use and heals 10 damage from each of your Pokemon.
Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Petilil is a basic Pokemon card with a stage 1 evolution in Lilligant, which I'll be reviewing tomorrow, you'll more than likely want to use this card with that Pokemon. However, since I haven't reviewed that card yet, I'll just act as though I plan on using this card without its evolution. So, on its own, the only way I would consider using this card is if you have a Pokemon in your deck that does damage to your own Pokemon as a side effect of one of its attacks, then later in the game you could move Petilil into the active Pokemon spot and use Aromatherapy for a turn or two then retreat Petilil. The problem with this however is that since Petilil has such a low HP, Petilil could easily get knocked out in one turn later in games, so I would recommend just using Trainer cards instead of this card in a deck.
Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating. So in my opinion, on its own, without considering Petilil, this is a below average Basic Pokemon card from the BREAKpoint set. Besides having a low HP and no ability to do any damage when attacking, this card isn't all too bad since Aromatherapy is a useful move, but because of those first two facts, I wouldn't highly recommend using this card in a deck.
