Goldenwood Town
As soon as you enter the town, dialogue will start and someone by the water will ask to be rescued. You can either choose to to this now, or explore the Town a little bit whilst you are here.
As most of the people in the town aren't friendly, I decided to go rescue the girl first. You'll find her near the top of the map, where two villagers are trying to hang her. Approach them and they'll challenge you to a battle.
She'll heal her Pokemon, and then the Villagers will barge into the Pokemon Centre and scream at you. They'll challenge you to a Pokemon Battle:
Head to the gate on the left side of the map and exit the gate onto Wispy Path.
Wispy Path
There's a Nurse Joy located near the start of this place, which is handy. There's also quite a few trainers on this route, so take your time and train (worth it).

- Ghost Girl Kira: Lv 34 Trevenant
- Jail: Not accessible....yet.
- Narcissa's House - Not accessible....yet
- Tall Grass: For me, this is the most important part of this town! You'll find patches here and there, but the best patch is here, on the bottom left corner near the gate. Guess what you'll find in here?
- Available Pokemon
- Grass: Zigzagoon, Linoone, Spewpa, Drifloon
- Fish: Wooper (Good Rod),
- Ren's House - When you first enter, Ren's mother will greet you. One some days you'll find a Spoink bouncing around in Ren's room.
- R1 - door is locked.
- R2 - The people here will straight up disrespect you. Nothing to see here
- R3 - See R2.
- R4 - See R3, except even the kid will toss you out.
There's a few items hanging around for you to grab as well:
When you are done exploring, head towards the Gym. On the way, stop by the Vending Machine and grab some Lemonades - these are by far the most cost efficient way to heal your Pokemon at this moment in the game. Anyway, talk to Narcissa, who will be standing in front of the Gym.
She'll tell you that the only way to prove blah blah blah is to blah blah. She'll say she doesn't have time to battle, and to go to the Pokemon Centre to calm the rowdy trainers and walk off. Go to the Pokemon Centre and heal your Pokemon. Try and walk out of the PC and you'll run into Aelita. She'll heal her Pokemon, and then the Villagers will barge into the Pokemon Centre and scream at you. They'll challenge you to a Pokemon Battle:
- Ghost Girl Sariah: Lv 37 Doublade, Lv 35 Haunter
- Ghost Girl Sariah: Lv 35 Duskull, Lv 36 Doublade, Lv 37 Haunter
After the battle, she'll announce round 2, but then a Pangoro shows up, and DROPKICKS THE VILLAGERS TO THE NEXT TOWN LMAO. The third villager will apologise and run away. The Pangoro will walk off as well.
Head to the gate on the left side of the map and exit the gate onto Wispy Path.

The Top path will take you directly to Wispy Tower, and the bottom will be good for exploring. There's a girl in the house in the bottom left area that really wants to see an Axew:
There's a few items to pick up on the way as well
Make your way up to the Wispy Tower and enter it.
Wispy Tower
You'll find Narcissa standing in the middle of the room. Talk to her and she'll tell you the story of how this use to be a successful radio station and how it and her husband were burned to the ground, and that's why they don't like outsiders (logic?). She'll make nice and say to head back to Goldenleaf together and exit. When you exit the building, you'll find Narcissa face down in the dirt:
Geara (one of the Team Xen Executives you teleported in on) will show up and challenge you to a battle:
After the battle, Geara will start to launch into a speech, but then Sariah shows up. Geara sneakily somehow turns transparent and hides, whilst Sariah finds you and Narcissa, and takes you immediately to Jail.
Goldenleaf Jail
You'll arrive in jail, where the warden will start trash talking you. As soon as he's done though, Mosely will show up, and beat the warden up, She'll then come to the door and apparently knock it down herself (why couldn't you do that?).
She'll introduce herself and stuff, and tell you some weirdos are heading towards Wispy Tower and that you should meet her there. She'll run off. kk. Outside the Jail, Mosely will inform you that the town is going crazy looking for outsiders/you, and to not get caught by them. If you ever played one of those games where you need to sneak around you'll find this part really easy. The easiest way to do this is to walk right past this girl and head towards the gate.
At the gate, you'll find Sariah being a massive tool again. She won't allow you to pass, which will encourage Mosely to call out her Pangoro to threaten to dropkick her again, only this time she plays nice and throws you onto the roof of the building. You'll be transported to Wispy Path
Wispy Path
Wispy Path now looks completely different - there aren't any regular trainers, no wild Pokemon. Just Team Xen all over the place and good old Nurse Joy to help you out when you need it. Follow mthe only path available to you, which is the top path, and you'll run into a grunts:
Walk into Wispy Tower, and walk directly into the little Shrine thing in the middle of the room - it'll turn out to be the entrance to another Team Xen Laboratory.
Wispy Laboratory
Enter and walk to the crossroads point - a cutscene will occur where Geara decides to be a d*** and put barriers up to prevent you from getting to her.
She'll also mention how you need two people to activate the monitors at the same time to get them open, and that you won't be able to. Our new friend Mosely shows up though, and will help you open the shutters. Head left, and battled the grunt.
She'll then reveal the secret that's been hiding underneath Wispy Tower - a Giratina! Narcissa will join the party, and Geara will reveal that her husband was the one that started the project to find Giratina, and expand into the Distortion World.
There will be a sort cutscene where Giratina is freed from the harness thing. She'll order it to attack you, and the grunts will occupy Mosely and Narcissa so you can't help.

- Team Xen Malik: Lv 34 Dratini, Lv 35 Dragonair,
- He literally gets walled by any fairy type.....
In the leftmost room there is a Recovery Machine, which is handy especially if Mallik's Dragons used T-Wave on you. Up into the next room will be another grunt. The teleportation pad is disconnected at this stage so don't worry about going there yet.
- Team Xen Danni: Lv 33 Weezing, Lv 34 Tropius (Shadow), Lv 33 Beedrill
Step out and head to the right upper room. There will be another grunt to battle, as well as an item to Pick up. Grey teleportation pad will still be offline:
- Team Xen Sheila: Lv 31 Arbok, Lv 33 Zebstrika, Lv 33 Shellos,
- Team Xen Cecilia: Lv 33 Kadabra, Lv 34 Duosion, Lv 35 Drowzee
Go to the rightmost room, where the path will split, keep going right into the little outlet and arrive in a room where you can find a Zinc:
Now head back and challenge the grunt to a battle:
- Team Xen Layla: Lv 33 Skiploom, Lv 33 Bayleef, Lv 31 Tropius
Interact with the Machine in the wall to activate the teleportation pads.
Step on any of the Grey pads, and you'll be teleported on the red one from the starting room, from there Mosely will activate the other monitor, and the shutter doors will open.
Use the red Crystal to heal if you wish. Head into the next room and Mosely will foolishly walk into the elevator trap.
Eli and Sharon will appear and challenge you to a battle:
- Misfortunate Duo Eli & Sharon: Lv 38 Lunatone, Lv 39 Solrock, Lv 40 Rhydon, Lv 39 Milotic, Lv 39 Gyarados, Lv 39 Tangrowth
She'll then reveal the secret that's been hiding underneath Wispy Tower - a Giratina! Narcissa will join the party, and Geara will reveal that her husband was the one that started the project to find Giratina, and expand into the Distortion World.

- Xen Initiative Geara (Doubles): Lv 39 Haunter, Lv 39 Drifblim, Lv 38 Giratina, Lv 40 Doublade
After the battle, she'll still tell Giratina to kill you, at which point Narcissa will tell her Dusclops to attack the Giratina. Giratina gets frozen, but breaks out easily. Giratina then literally shreds the Dusclops into pieces. Geara will think that she has won, until Narcissa reveals she told her Dusclops to take Geara and not the Giratina to the Distortion World.
Geara gets dragged away, but not before getting Giratina back. Narcissa will say that we should go back to her house to discuss things, and you are transported there. She'll tell you that she's going to lift the ordination of isolation and that the townsfolk will be nicer to you now. Mosely will probe into why Narcissa didn't know her Husband was doing stuff (too soon, Mosely). She'll let Mosely go, and tell you to meet her at the Gym for a battle.
Now that Narcissa has told everyone to be nicer, it's time to talk to all the town folk again and get some freebies:
When you head to the Pokemon Centre, the Girl in the Green hat will tell you that Aelita is in Akuwa Town and will meet you there. Thanks for waiting for me Aelita.
If you head towards the gym however, Aelita will catch up with you at the door, and won't let you in until you battle her. Sigh.
- Student Aelita: Lv 40 Scraggy, Lv41 Gallade, Lv 42 Balziken, Lv 41 Hawlucha, Lv 41 Mienfoo
- Strategy: Bulk Up Granbull rekts her, just saying.......
She'll regret challenging you and leave. Go back to the Pokemon Centre and heal, and head back to the Gym
Narcissa's Gym
Enter through the Reception area and into the next room. There are wild Pokemon in the Gym, apparently.
Narcissa's Gym
Enter through the Reception area and into the next room. There are wild Pokemon in the Gym, apparently.
- Available Pokemon
- Walking: Duskull, Yamask, Rattata, Raticate
- Picking up a Raticate is helpful if you are struggling with Narcissa's Gym as it gains access to helpful Dark moves like Sucker Punch, Crunch, etc., and is immune to Ghost attacks. Guts Raticates are even great in case they try and burn you with Will-O-Wisp.
The key to getting through this is to go through the door that has the Torch lit, by which I mean the door with this on it:
There are also a few trainers in here:
Anyway, in the last room, there will be a healing crystal thing, use it if you wish. Proceed onto the platform for battling, and Ren will crash the party to try and battle Narcissa, and is surprised you are here.
Finally, the battle can start.

- Strategy: Get a Normal type (Raticate, Pyroar, Sawsbuck) and this Gym shouldn't be too difficult.
After the battle Narcissa will give you the Reaper badge. She'll say she forgot her TM at Amethyst Cave or something.
Exit the Gym, heal up and head into the cave next to the Gym.
