Sheridan Village
When you first exit the cave, you'll notice a old woman talking to a purple haired girl. The Old woman is the Village elder, and the girl is Aelita, who is the Sensei's (Keta) apprentice. They'll talk about how the Sensei's not being himself, and how they need to do something about it.
There's a few things to check out here, I'll go through each house one by one:
1) Sheridan Village Help Centre (Do these after the next bit when you get access to the dude's truck - will save you a lot of money)

Enter Keta's house and proceed through the door at the back, He'll be all emo and stuff, and will ask you to retrieve the Soul Stone, which is back at the start of Amethyst Cave in a section called the Amethyst Grotto.
Venture back to Amethyst Cave and touch this stone and it will reveal another pathway.
Head down the stairs, and as you enter Amethyst Grotto, Ghost Keta will appear and disappear again. Head through the path and you'll arrive at an alter type of thing. Ghost Keta will approach you and a dialogue will start, where he explains that the Keta we see in real life is emotionally dead and such. He'll give you the Soul Stone.
Grab some of the items down here as well (you come back later anyway so no biggie if you don't).
Head back to Sheridan Village, and talk to Keta, and he'll accept your battle request.
He'll go super emo at the end of the battle and run off. Aelita and the elder will go and chase him. You should go heal your Pokemon, and then proceed to the cave behind the middle of the waterfall (ghost Keta will direct you there).

- Mystery Fountains?
- - Battle Lv 25 Carvanha in Gearan City Fountain Battle. There are many fountains, two NW in Gearen near the train station, 2 down in Ocean Pier. Mine was in the Left Fountain in front of the train station. Initially the message will read "there appears to be nothing wrong with this fountain", but as soon as you walk away, you'll hear the Carvanha's cry!
- - Reward: $550, Water Stone, Good Rod
- Chase Him!?
- Shows up in Sheridan Village first right here, then he'll run off to the Oceana Pier at the right side. He'll battle you with a Lv26 Smeargle (Hardcore Trainer Leshel). You are very handily transported back to Sheridan Village after the battle.
- Reward: $800, Leaf Stone
- Trade Me?
- Trade an Aipom for the person's Pancham. Meet her by the Waterfall, and she'll explain that she's been looking for an Aipom.
- Go to Route 2 and Headbutt those Pink trees and catch one. Head back to the Waterfall and chat to the girl. She'll initiate the trade and give you IronFist (Shiny Pancham), who is ridiculously cute. As far as I'm aware, this is the only way to get a Pancham in this game.
- (This quest glitched on me the first time I did it, probably because I got greedy and caught 2 Aipom before I went to trade).
- Reward: Black Belt
- Rare Pokemon?
- Find rare Pokemon on Route 2 in the morning (NB: Doesn't have to be in the morning)
- A Teddiursa will show up in the middle section between the 2 Rock Smash areas (Req. Rock Smash)
- Reward: $850
- Battle Me?
- Battle a girl in front of the waterfall in Sheridan Village
- 6 Pokemon squad - strategy is to induce paralysis/lower accuracy on your squad and then smash away with Hex Vulpix, Moxieyena, Hawlucha
- Vivillon, Hawlucha, Vulpix, Mightyena (Sand Attack Beast), Helioptile (Mud-Slap beast), 1+ others
- Reward: Money, Spearow
3) Move Tutor's House
- Her Sister will inform you that the Move Tutor went for a tour around the Aevium region and hasn't returned for a while....Once you finish the Kristilline Town Help Quest, she'll return and be available to tutor you Pokemon for the price of a Heart Scale.
4) Resident's House
- The lady on the right will give you a Sweet Heart
5) Resident's House
- Girl closest to the exit will ask you to go look for her boyfriend, who went to Amethyst Cave a while back. You can find him training his Lunatone here:
- Go back to the house you started this whole thing in. The guy will thank you and then attempt to offer you his Fennekin as a reward....but the Fennekin will run off! You'll have to chase it around before you can get it. (I will cover this later)
6) House guarded by Makuhita - no use talking to this Makuhita now unless you want to be disrespected. Come back after you have defeated Keta and unlocked the Purification Chamber. This place will sell items that speed up the Purification process.
7) Resident's House
- There is an apparent suicide note on the desk. The Pokeball on the carpet is a Tyrogue, which is pretty cool
- Available Pokemon:
- Grass - Makuhita, Kricketot, Pidgeotto
- Fish - Finneon
As always, there are trainers in this town as well:
- Fragrant Lady Jessibelle: Lv 20 Roselia, Lv 22 Weepinbell, Lv 22 Gloom,
- Tae Kwon Do Girl Lilith: Lv 22 Riolu, Lv 22 Machop
- Tae Kwon Do Girl Taleia: Lv 24 Tyrogue, Lv 26 Pancham
- Black Belt Alexander: Lv 23 Heracross, Lv 24 Pinsir, Lv 25 Medicham
- Tae Kwon Do Girl Betty: Lv 22 Tyrunt, Lv 24 Amaura
- Black Belt Charles: Lv 24 Tyrogue, Lv 24 Hitmonchan
- Tae Kwon Do Girl Natalia: Lv 23 Mienfoo, Lv 24 Meditite, Lv 24 Meditite
Once you are done exploring, head up the left path and into the house - this will be the Pokemon Centre for Sheridan Village. If you approach the Skitty on the left, the lady at the fridge will turn around and explain that the Skitty's Trainer ditched it because it was weak (and it is weak) and will ask you to take it. It's not a strong Pokemon, but at least it's free, right?
This woman here will talk about some spiritual stuff, and give you a Soothe Bell:
Head upwards on the rocky area, fighting through the trainers (listed above). Aelita will be standing in front of Keta's house. She'll give you a little introduction and how Sensei hasn't been doing things he should be doing. She'll leave in an emotional rage or something.

Go to the central fighting arena and step on the other side of the platform. Some dialogue will start about battling and crap, then you start the battle:
- Sensei Keta: :Lv 23 Hawlucha, Lv 24 Pignite, Lv 26 Lucario, Lv 25 Gurdurr, Lv 24 Machoke, Lv 24 Medicham
- Signature Move: Gale Strike - raises Attack stat sometimes, 90% accurate
